We offer a wide range of accommodation options from nice and cozy log cabins to a massive three floor log castle. All the cabins are equipped with a sauna and all the necessities. Skiing tracks and snowmobile tracks are in the immediate access of the cabins. Cabins are located in Lainio and Ylläsjärvi.

Log Castle Karkelo

This log castle is located in the quiet and serene Lainio area, 15 km from ski-resort Ylläs. Available services in Lainio are the Snow Village, restaurant LainioKrouvi and a range of arctic activities, such as snowmobile and husky safaris.

Located in Lainio area (20 minutes from the airport, 20 minutes from Ylläs area) Karkelo is located app. 2km from our main building. Therefore we advise clients staying in Karkelo to consider renting a car. This way you also have easy access to both of the ski resorts and to grocery stores.
