We start together at the farm with a non-alcoholic drink with our special ‘forest flavour’. The next step is to harness the reindeer. Visitors work in pairs and after some advice they will harness their own reindeer.

When everything is ready we’ll walk the reindeer into the forest where we have a ready made track for the ride. We will be steering the reindeer sledges in the forest partly on a forest road and partly on reindeer paths in snowy scenery. We will go through the riding and steering instructions and the problems that may occur. Then we will sit down into the sledges which have edges, a seat back and padding on the bottom. If the weather is cold, blankets are available also.

The first reindeer is guided by the reindeer herdsman and after him come the visitors with their own reindeers. We will have a break in the dusk evening by a camp fire, fry some sausages, enjoy coffee or tea with a bun or a pancake cooked on open fire. The reindeer will also be given their lichen.

If the weather is clear, we may watch the magical light show of the sky when the Northern lights are dancing around the moon and millions of stars. We will rest our senses in the peaceful nature and enjoy freshness of the wilderness. After the break we head back for the farm. After taking the harness off the reindeer, we’ll say goodbyes to the reindeer and get our ‘reindeer driver’s licences’.
